Hannibal D.A.R.s organize
Hannibal, Mo. Oct. 29. A number of ladies met yesterday at the home of Mrs. J.H. McVeigh and organized the Hannibal Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The state regent, Mrs. George H. Shields, of St. Louis, was in the city and organized this chapter.
The following officers were elected: Regent, Miss Elizabeth Harrison; registrar, Miss Leigh Allison; historian, Miss Jessie McVeigh; secretary, Miss Mary Helm; treasurer, Mrs. Harry Logan; directors, Mesdames J.H. McVeigh, J.L. RoBards, J.R. Davidson, Ben Stevens and L.P. Munger.
